Battery Rebate Program
The CPA Power Response Battery Rebate Program is a part of the Olivine Community. It provides incentives for medium and large non-residential customers to purchase and install battery energy storage systems (BESS). Customers participating in the Battery Rebate program must enroll at least 50% of the capacity of the BESS in the CPA Power Response Program to receive incentives. Increase deployment of battery energy storage in CPA territory by reducing equipment and installation costs and providing support to customers to reduce other barriers to these installations.
Range from $5,000-$96,250 depending on battery size and federal Investment Tax Credit (ITC) status. $125 / kWh for customers taking the ITC. $175 /kWh for customers not taking the ITC. Systems must be a minimum of 40 kWh and a maximum of 550 kWh.
Applications are open starting October 28th, 2020. The first review of applications will commence on December 17th, 2020. The application will remain open until funds are exhausted.
